New music from Paul Schomer and radiocrowdfund.com

Paul Schomer runs the new music discovery blog radiocrowdfund.com and for his latest visit with us, he brought along several suggestions. First up there was a tribute CD to Sparklehorse, aka the late Mark Linkous. Click here to learn more about the effort from Box of Stars. In the interview, we heard the original version of Sea of Teeth and then the cover version by Mercury Rev. Paul then told us about a “Brit Pop” band from California called The Shore. Click here to sample their latest CD Second Sight. Next was a musician named Robert Dale who goes by the stage name Belgian Fog. Here’s his song You Drive Me to Madness.

Then there was Clara Berry and Woodlog, a duo from New England. Woodlog is a drummer named Joe O’Neill. Paul played their new song Air Traffic and he compares Berry’s voice to Regina Spektor and Fiona Apple.

Finally, we heard from the new Chicago-based band Slow, Pioneers! We featured their song The Details. Click here to listen to that song and three others.
