Norman Corwin (1910-2011)

We pay tribute to Norman Corwin, the best writer, director and producer of radio’s Golden Age. Corwin died on Tuesday at the age of 101. He was best known for stirring radio dramas celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Bill of Rights and “On a Note of Triumph” which marked VE Day, the end of World War Two in Europe. Bob visited with Corwin in his Los Angeles apartment in 2005.

    1. Why yes…yes there is; this is the original broadcast of Bob’s interview with Norman Corwin, which first aired on July 26th, 2005:

  1. This was such a special interview, and I'm so glad it was repeated as a tribute to Mr. Corwin. What a genius and a conscience… the combination of which is almost nonexistent. His programming should be re-broadcast often!
    Thank you…
