Bob interviewed Bruce Watson as a follow up to his interview with Charlie Cobb who was one of the founding members of SNCC – the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. This spring, former members of SNCC celebrated the 50th anniversary of the start of the organization. Perhaps we risk over saturation on our coverage of SNCC, but the stories are vast and all so interesting. Not to mention, the history is too important, especially when one considers the segregation speech proudly given by Governor Wallace in 1963 upon taking office.
