Circumcise Me

Yisrael Campbell began life as Christopher. His family was Catholic, but he didn’t have a devout upbringing. Early experimentation with drugs and alcohol led him to pursue a closer relationship with God. He tried just about everything, but what stuck was Judaism. Campbell converted three times, first to Reform, then to Conservative, and finally to Orthodox Judaism. Now Campbell lives with his wife and children in Jerusalem, where he has performed with the Israeli Palestinian Comedy Tour. He tells the story of his spiritual journey in the one-man show Circumcise Me.
