Since 1992, The Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression has been shining a light on attempts to shut people up. The annual Muzzle awards are given to those who do their best to limit their fellow citizens’ right to free speech. It’s a dubious honor, but one that seems in little danger of exhausting its supply of nominees.
