Dan Gediman, Helen Keller and This I Believe

Each week Bob is joined by Dan Gediman, the Executive Director of This I Believe, Inc. to discuss one of the original essays from the 1950s radio series. This week’s featured essay is by Helen Keller. Everyone knows the story of her early life – deaf and blind from infancy, then taught to read and speak by Anne Sullivan. But Helen Keller eventually became a radical activist and author with some deeply held beliefs about the world. Click here to read a transcript and hear the audio of her “This I Believe” essay.
