Our children’s book authority Daniel Pinkwater looked to his favorite fowl for this month’s picture book recommendations. His own affections for the ubiquitous birds led him to a classic crow picture book from the ’50s — Taro Yashima’s Crow Boy— and a contemporary book about crows that reveals that, yes, crows do like road kill, called As The Crow Flies by Sheila Kennan and Kevin Duggan.
