Now an adult who’s faced his own challenges, taylor is inspired by the strength his mother exhibited through every adversity. taylor is a professional archaeologist and a student at Columbia University where he is finishing a degree in archaeological anthropology. taylor is writing an autobiography detailing his out-of-the-ordinary life journey, from Marine Corps infantryman, to Border Patrol agent, to prison inmate, to archaeologist and finally to Ivy League student. His essay will be featured in the new book This I Believe: On Motherhood.
