This week marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens. The author of A Christmas Carol, A Tale of Two Cities, The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, David Copperfield and many others, Dickens was the Victorian era’s most beloved writer. Biographer Claire Tomalin’s new book Charles Dickens sheds light on the life of this famous writer, born February 7th, 1812.
