Susan Hall and This I Believe

essayist Susan HallEach week, we’ll hear a new This I Believe essay – this time from Susan Hall. She has a hectic life filled with a full-time job, household chores, and raising a developmentally challenged child. But when her son got her to stop and enjoy some music with him, Hall learned how loving it is to sit with someone and simply listen. Hall is a high school English teacher in Pentwater, Michigan, where she and her family enjoy cheering on her son’s Special Olympics basketball team.
