Ron Woolley and This I Believe

essayist Ron WoolleyEach week, we’ll hear a new This I Believe essay – this week by Ron Woolley. He lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts and bikes to nearby Hingham where he teaches world history and economics at the high school. When his father died, Woolley grappled with an appropriate way to memorialize him since the ashes were spread in the ocean. Woolley now honors his father by stacking stones at the seashore every time he goes for a swim.  His tribute may not be permanent, but Woolley believes his love for his dad is. Woolley is currently helping his two sons learn to swim.
