Listening to Elizabeth Alexander read "Praise Song for the Day" once again brought me to tears. I am a cellist and poet, but when Bob mentioned the word that stood out to so many people I immediately said out loud, "Lettuce!" and welled up further as I heard about the response from the United Farm Workers. I very much admire Alexander's spare, clean language. "Crave Radiance" looks to be a treat! Thank you for another inspiring program.
