While genocide is never a subject that I willingly want to discuss, “Scream Bloody Murder,” a new documentary reported by Christiane Amanpour, made me realize how important it is to discuss these atrocities and learn from our mistakes. In the documentary, which premieres tonight on CNN, Amanpour examines the mistakes made in dealing with the genocides from the 20th and 21st century. While at times disturbing due to the graphic nature of the images, it’s necessary viewing for anyone that cares about human rights.
