Tuesday’s Show

last_lincoln1.jpgWhen Bob suggested interviewing Gabor Boritt, a Hungarian survivor of the Holocaust who fled his homeland after the failure of the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, only to become one of America’s leading Abraham Lincoln experts, how could I say no? My grandfather, too, fled Hungary following that heartbreaking rebellion – and of course, who doesn’t love Honest Abe? It’s a good opportunity to brush up on the details of our 16th President’s life and like many of our interviews, of course, I learned a little something, such as where Lincoln slept the night before giving his famous Gettysburg Address (and how he almost had to share his bed!).
